New Nichols Website Launched

The Office of Marketing & Communications team is happy to announce the launch of Nichols College’s new website.

The website’s new look is a culmination of several months of discovery, design, and development. The Website Redesign Committee’s goal was to provide a more guided pathway for prospective students and their families. Additionally, the Committee took a proactive step toward developing the website to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at level AA compliance, which allows our web content to be more accessible to people with disabilities. The Office of Marketing & Communications will continue to evaluate the website’s messaging and functionality to improve the user experience and deliver on the Nichols promise.

Given the scope of the project, it is reasonable to assume that there will be changes or corrections needed. Content concerns can be sent to Dave Leary via the Help Desk system. For functionality concerns, please place a Help Desk ticket with Dana Armstrong in the IT Department. For both areas, include the URL in question, screen shot, and details of the concern.

Although the IT Department, web developers, Marcomm, and other staff members tested the site, we encourage you to access the website using different devices and browsers. Should you see something unusual or broken, please let us know.

Please also share www.nichols.edu with your colleagues; the more folks we have viewing our pages, the better.

Kevin Brassard (IT), Bill Boffi (Enrollment), and Cindy Brown (MarComm) acknowledge the efforts of the Website Redesign Committee (Dana Armstrong, Charles Tousignant, Ashley O’Keefe, Beth Graham, Andrew Smith, Steve Belleville, Dave Leary, Len Harmon, and students—now alumni— Nicole Ross ’17 and Tim Marks ’17). And, special thanks to Nathan Grist and Mauri Pelto for their time and talent.

Your feedback is welcome; please leave a comment below. Thanks!
