Nichols to Host Relay for Life to Benefit American Cancer Society

Nichols College is hosting its first Relay for Life on Sunday, April 8, from 2 to 8 p.m.

Relay for Life is a community-based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society, which organizes more than 5,000 such events across the world every year. Join the Nichols College community in supporting the goal of Relay for Life, and help raise money to improve cancer survival.

With this event being community based, you can make a team up to 20 people with your friends and compete against other teams to raise the most money. There will be food, prizes, and many different events including dunk tanks, Hula-hoop contests, Tug-o-War, and many others.

To make a team, please have a team captain who will be in charge of collecting physical money, and who can attend a meeting if need be. Also, there is a $15 registration fee, which can be earned back when you are raising money. It also covers your entry fee and food on April 8.

Join the Nichols College community on April 8 on Vendetti Field and we can make a difference. Watch for more information through-out the semester!
