The Nichols College Student Government Association will hold its 2nd annual Pink Out for Breast Cancer football game Saturday, Oct. 14, at noon on Vendetti Field. This year, the Institute for Women’s Leadership (IWL) at Nichols College is the co-sponsor.
Each academic year class, including the Executive Advisory Board and Social Programming Board, will provide on the field a variety of pink give-aways for the students in their respective classes. Give-aways include T-shirts, foam fingers, phone wallets, beads, laptop stickers, and lanyards.
The IWL and Student Involvement office will also sell pink T-shirts to family members and guests attending the football game. At half-time, fans will be asked to form a “living ribbon”; everyone wearing a pink T-shirt will go on the field and form a breast cancer awareness ribbon for a photograph.
